DESCRIPTION:THE DARK KNIGHT\n\n\n(2008\, É.-U.\, 152 min.\, 35mm\, VOA) Christopher Nolan \n\n\nLa deuxième réinvention de l’histoire de Batman par le réalisateur est étrange\, sombre\, grandiose\, folle et extrêmement divertissante. Il y a des scènes vraiment exaltantes\, en particulier celle du début : nous commençons par une descente de banque sous haute tension\, menée par une équipe douteuse portant tous des masques du Joker et chuchotant entre eux à propos du type fou maquillé en clown qui les a embauchés pour faire le travail. Pour sa formidable interprétation du Joker\, Heath Ledger a reçu à titre posthume un Oscar bien mérité. \n  \nD’un point de vue purement physique\, The Dark Knight est vraiment énorme\, avec des séquences de paysages urbains tournées en Imax\, qui exigent d’être vues sur grand écran. Compte tenu de l’obsession de Nolan pour le tournage sur de la vraie pellicule\, faites-vous une immense faveur en le regardant avec nous en copie CinemaScope 35 mm avec son Dolby surround. There are some really exhilarating set-pieces here\, especially the one that kick starts the proceedings: we start off with a high-tension\, high-anxiety bank raid\, carried out by a dodgy crew all in Joker masks\, all whispering among themselves about the crazy guy in clown makeup who hired them to do the job. For his tremendous performance as The Joker\, Heath Ledger was posthumously awarded a well-deserved Oscar. \n  \nIn a simple\, physical sense The Dark Knight really is huge\, with cityscape sequences shot in Imax\, that demand to be seen on a large screen. Considering Nolan’s obsession with shooting on actual film\, do yourself the immense favour of watching it with us as a 35mm CinemaScope print in Dolby surround sound. See you in Gotham City!
